Construction Sector Accord
The Construction Sector Accord (the accord) is a shared commitment from the government and the construction industry to work together to meet some of the key challenges facing the construction sector, including skills and labour shortages, unclear regulations, a lack of coordinated leadership, an uncertain pipeline of work and a culture of shifting risk.
The vision
The accord has a vision of a high-performing construction sector that supports the wellbeing of New Zealanders through safe and durable homes, buildings and infrastructure that are built by a productive capable, resilient and proud sector.

Shared goals
Te Tūāpapa Kura Kāinga - Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is part of the accord, which was developed by Ministers, government agencies and industry leaders.
Members of the accord have agreed to a shared set of shared goals.
